How the service is handled

We bring the engine to a suitable temperature, drain the old oil cleanly and replace the filter using the correct installation method. The filter housing, sealing faces, drain plug or extraction method and visible leak points are checked. New oil is filled to the model-specific capacity, the level is rechecked after start-up and the service interval is updated in the vehicle system where supported.

Specifications and recommendations

  • Common viscosities include 0W-20, 0W-30, 5W-30 and 5W-40, but the final choice is based on the vehicle approval.
