How a suspension kit is installed

The car is raised on a lift and all wheels are removed. Each corner has its old suspension stripped down — control arms, shock absorbers, springs, track rod ends. New parts are installed and every mounting bolt is renewed. Bushings and rubber components are lubricated as needed to ease installation.

Once the whole suspension is assembled, the car is lowered and the suspension settles into its new settings. Wheel alignment is done precisely on all four wheels, settings are recorded and ride-feel adjustments can be made on coilover kits. The test drive confirms the car feels composed, doesn't creak or bounce, and steering is precise.
